PATTERN PROOF CHECKLIST
Example: ochre pears, green leaves, cream ground; straight repeat.
Repeat type / tile width and height / layered source:
Edge continuations: left-right, top-bottom, all corners.
Offset working copy: half width, half height, WRAP AROUND enabled.
Original boundaries now at center: contour breaks or background changes?
Three-by-three proof: seams / dense cluster / empty corridors / grid rhythm.
Physical scale: tile pixels divided by pixels per inch = tile inches.
Example: 3000 px / 300 ppi = 10 in. A 300 px pear = 1 in.
Final provider file/color requirements / physical proof result:
Any upscale, resample, crop or retouch? Recheck seams afterward.
Exported SINGLE tile reopened and repeated independently?
Deliver layered source + final tile + repeat proof + scale note.
